Frequently Asked Questions

What's a blog?
A blog or Web log is a Web site that contains frequently updated content, written by one or more people, usually with a personal tone or quality.

Initially, blogs were primarily about personal topics — like an online diary, but now they've evolved to cover just about any topic imaginable.

What's a comment?
We allow readers to comment on "A Willing Witness." This feature gives readers the chance to respond to Jen or to others who have commented on a topic. Inappropriate comments should be reported.  St. John Neumann Church reserves the right to block access because of poor behavior

How do I comment?
On any blog entry, look for a link like this:

O Comments:

The number in the before "Comments" is the number of comments so far — if it's 0, then you can grab the top spot! A form is listed below that where you enter your name and comment. Click "Post Comment" to submit it for consideration.

When can I comment?
You can comment at any time, but they are reviewed before they are posted.

What are the 'rules' for commenting?

  • Don't use ALL CAPS. It's considered shouting.
  • Be considerate.
  • Keep your language civil. What you post is seen by everyone who visits the page.
  • You may not post advertising for goods, services, products, etc. to our comment areas.
  • You may not put links to sites that contain graphic or obscene subject matter.
  • Comments may be deleted at St. John Neumann Church's discretion.

How do I report an abusive comment?

Can "A Willing Witness" link to my blog and / or Web site?
We would love to link to every Willing Witness reader’s blog and / or Web site, but due to potentially large numbers, it’s impossible. You’re welcome to shoot Jen Crowley an e-mail to tell her about Web sites or individual blog posts you’ve written if they relate to the topic of ministry -- but she can’t guarantee to link to all such submissions.
